As we knew would happen, as we grow, so does our need for more qualified people to work with us.
For each of the available positions, please include a resume. In the body of your email include applicable experience and the amount of it for the position in which you are applying.
Opening: Proofreader – Must be able to accurately, and under a deadline, proof for grammar, incorrect word usage (their/there/they’re and he/she and so on), misplaced words, punctuation, spelling, etc.
Opening Editor – Included, but not limited to: Check for over usage of words/phrases, verify facts and information, help develop story line where needed (expand or cut), suggest better phrasing or direction, assist readability, etc
Please note that you must be willing to cover all genres and sub-genres for all positions. This assures that no one person is swamped and that no one is waiting too long on their edits.
All payments are quarterly and on a percent of sales basis.
